This year started with a loss, Northspring's Spread Your Wings "Slava" left us. I feel with you Anett, I know how much you loved him, we miss him as well. He was a great friend, a great working dog and such a good boy. Slava was born at us from Ed's and Quinny's litter. I remember how much I waited for this litter and how much I wanted to keep a girl out of it, but I had no luck, at leat this is how I felt. It did no take too much time to fell in love with this boy and decide to keep him, not at us but in co-ownership. Anett's family was the perfect place. He came to visit us many times, he was part of our racing team and was part of our life as well. His name "Slava" means "Celebration" in Serbian, and he did celebrate his life.

19.11.2023. Our true Legend at the age of 14 left us. Ed was our first male, the father of our two litters and father of so many at others. All his pupps had such a sweet and tender temperament as he had. He had never been agressive to anyone, he had never fought with anyone and was obsessed with puppies, no matter if they were his or not. When Ziggy came to us, he accepted him as his best friend, I wish they could be longer together. I enjoyed showing him, my handling skills grew with him and I was always a proud to be in the ring with him no matter if we won or not. At the age of 7 when many other dogs retire from racing Ed won golden medal with Zoya and Laci on middle distance at the European Championship in Ottenschlag. He did everything to make us happy and satisfied. He was a sweet grandpa never complaining except when it was time for dinner or breakfast, then everyone knew he is hungry :).

As our youngster were still too young to participate Laci started with his veterans: Northspring's Born To Shine (Zoya - 10 years) and Northspring's Green Valley (Iva 8 years) in D1 category on middle distance. They did an incredible job in extreme circumstances for a dryland race. They finished on 3rd place which means that they brough home a BRONZE MEDAL FROM THE WOLRD CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Power Puff of Siberian Lady left us on 22.03.2023.
She was our real Queen, the first star of our show team and Laci's first really good racing dog. Quinny lived a long healthy and hopefully full and happy life. She lived with us in Budapest, moved with us back to Serbia, had two beautiful puppies, shared the happiness of our baby born and was obsessed with Adam. She travelled with us trough Europe, and followed me so many time to our garden. In her old age she lost part of her sight, but was still able to almost catch a cat. She was the leader of our pack until Sookie arrived. It was so nice to see how they splited this task in a very peacful way. I am not sad, as I know this is not the end, there was a reason why our souls shared this life and we will meet again one day.

WE HAVE A NEW EUROPEAN CHAMPION ON MIDDLE DISTANCE BIKEJORING WOMAN CATEGORY
We had an exciting but extremely tiring week, so I'm in delay with sharing news, but it really does not mean that I forgot about them.
I'm trying to find the proper words to describe my feelings but can not, so I will simply say I am more than proud of my girls.
Zlatka Hristova and Ariel (Northspring's Silver Moon) became EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS on FISTC Cart European Championship 2022 - Gropello Cairoli (PV) Italy in middle distance woman category.
Ariel is our leggy tall girl out of CH Chamonix Deus Alias Special One and CH Northspring's Green Valley. She is the 4th European Champion in the Northspring family.
Danail Ivanov-danson and Iron (Northspring's Green Forest) finished on fourth place on middle distance between men. Good job done guys!

Northspring's Green Forest aka Iron and Dani made us proud yesterday. Dani and Iron won golden medal on Dryland European Championship in Klaistow. They ran on middle distance trail in bikejöring category which means 3x21,3 km.
Northspring's Green Forest is out of European Champion (also on middle distance 2016) Indian Legend of Siberian Lady and Creek Spring of Siberian Lady, is half brother of double European Champion (also on middle distance 2016,2019) Northspring's Born To Shine, half brother to European Champion (also on middle distance 2016) Northspring's Born To Be Good. All these dogs may not be perfect but they have the heart to run and work. They are perfect to us.
Danail Ivanov-danson we know how much effort, time, energy and money was put into this success. You deserved it!
Even we are not that active on races and shows any more but we are proud of each success our dogs and their owners have with them no matter if they are pets climbing mountains, working dogs pulling sleds, if they are sport dogs attending on races or show dogs visiting shows. The most important thing the LOVE is and HAPPINESS they give to each other.

It’s a rainy Thursday, not as rainy as the European Championship was last weekend but still its dark and cold. Why I am writing this post, because we are at home with another golden medal from another EC and I had no chance to share all the emotions we experienced during this weekend. Why? Maybe I was waiting for Laci to at least once be proud of himself and post something but he still is the same guy I met and fell in love with and has not changed anything even being double European Champion so no boat from his side.
Why is this Golden Medal a big thing for us? We both are from Serbia, a small and poor country in Europe. Since we are independent from our parents we struggle to create and manage things we wish to experience. I’m not complaining, really I am not, because I see all the people around us and we are extremely lucky even we really work to death to have the possibilities we live with, but until someone born into better standards can go and visit any place in Europe for us to go the neighbor country for 4 days means weeks of planning, months of saving. So this is the first thing – we were saving money for all the races that both Laci and me attended, and it meant that many other things we needed was missed (like shows for example).
Second thing we race with our own bred dogs. Is it a BIG thing? Hell YES. It’s a HUGE thing, because we invested a lot into their parents and we invested even more into them. They are perfect to us, we love them with full of our heart and they are equal members of our family, but its not just that. You know their parents, you know their limits and those two girls who are part of our team currently they were born into my hands, I know them from their first breath taken. We know what they love, what they hate, what they enjoy and what they won’t do. We know them.
Third thing: if you race with your dogs they must be on special diet, on vitamins and needs special care. What this means? We feed with dry food and cooked food as well. The dry food we give can be bought only abroad and the cooked food must contain meat, vegetables and mark me, but some carbohydrate. It means preparation of their dinner at least every second day, measurement how much they can get of what. And its not hard to do, if you see the goal and if you see their happiness then you do it easily.
Fourth thing is the training. Would you believe if I would say we chose the house we live in based on its location? To be as close the fields as possible? I’m sure you do… so training is almost as important as the genes of the fog and diet of the dog. It was not hard for any of us to wake up in the morning, take the dogs for middle distance trainings before our son wakes up and we need to take him to the kindergarten. It is understood only by those who know what such devotion is.
I could numerate many other things like delaying a planned litter etc., but OK, lets stop somewhere 😊.
And then life teaches you, that you must have LUCK as well. Many of you have already read that one of our girls got injured 2 weeks before the European Championship. We traveled to Reingers to race with them, it was part of the training plan to see how they perform after long travel on similar land type as EC is and also on middle distance. Iva had bad luck and hurt her leg… so no more training for her and we could not be sure she will recover till the big event. Laci had to make a hard decision, he had to change his category and to continue training with only one dog – Zoya.
Who is Zoya? Zoya was born 5 years ago from our Sookie and a Hungarian male Boo. Both dogs had Siberian Lady bloodlines, it’s a show kennel but breeds very good proportioned dogs with big heart for work. Zoya had a special bond to Laci since the first moment they met and I’m not kidding. Its important as I’m sure she would even die for Laci. I was not always satisfied with her. She has shorter legs and is a small sized Siberian (only 52 cm), while Iva is more my type. But life is life and as I said she would do anything for Laci and if Laci wishes her to win an European Championship, she will 😊.
So back to the story. We arrived to Magyarpolany, the vet check was done, we helped to our friends in few things and went back 30 km to the place where we stayed. I must thank here to our best friends Dr. Konc Gorgey Tunde and Dr. Konc Gabor for the hospitality, you are not just great people but really the best friends we could wish for. On Friday morning (first day of the race) it was cloudy but not raining yet. Zoya was excited, she was howling barking and crying in the start, she launched out as a rocket from the last place and they came to the finish as first. They had the best time in their category. The trail was muddy due to rain but as Laci said OK. Zoya came to the finish fit and satisfied, not tired at all. We were all happy as we hoped for good result but knowing the other mushers in the same category we could not believe Laci is on first position next day. And our luck left us here, or maybe not, who knows 😊 then we thought we are unlucky. It started to rain in the afternoon and hadn’t stop till Monday morning. Next day in the morning our car did not want to start… thanks to Gabor at the end Laci managed to get to the place of EC, he was ready for his start standing already at the starting line he realized one of his tires is empty. He immediately rushed back to the car, put air into the tire but he was late to his start time with 39 seconds. Race Marshall had the decision that he must wait until everyone start and he can go as last. This meant his time was counted from his original starting time :( . He lost his first place but he was fighting so hard and Zoya was so fast that they managed to overtake everyone again except our good friend from Bulgaria who was originally on second place. We were devastated, due to one technical problem it seemed all is lost. Of course second place is also a BIG thing but after the first day success it was very hard to accept. There was less than a 1 minute difference between Ivaylo and Laci. As I already wrote it was raining, the whole trail became a pool full of mud, the weather became colder and colder, 3 degrees during the night and 5 degrees during the day. At the evening we heard a gossip that it is possible organizers will cancel the third day of the race, so I was not able to sleep, I haven’t even told it to Laci as he said on the third day they will make it.
On the third morning the circumstances were even worse, even colder, even more wet, but thank God the board did not cancel the race. So we got a chance. Zoya got her massage, and we checked the bike 10 times 😊. They started the last part of the race in time, I remember I was shaking and my stomach hurt because of being nervous and worried. It was third day, third 14 km, the bike could give up, many have fallen and many people gave up… but not our team. I remember seeing Laci arriving to the last hill. I saw Ivaylo first and just next to him Laci, they were coming together. For Laci it was enough to arrive next to Ivaylo to win the first place, he did not have to overtake him. I remember Zoya was playing with Ivaylo’s dog and there was a smile on everyone’s face. I started to cry, it was cry of happiness. So they DID it, Zoya DID it, Laci DID it, they won golden medal on middle distance in bikejoring 1 dog man category.
All our work, all our investment, all the sacrifice was worth and paid! So I’m more than proud and I believe Laci is also more than proud!

Laci started was racing in bikejoring with two FCI dogs (Zoya and Iva) and finished on FIRST place. I (Agnes) was racing with Ed and Sookie and finished on second place. Adam was running with Sookie and finished also on second place (we are so proud of him!!)
Liridon Rexbequai was racing with Momo in FCI one dog men (Northspring's Green Mountain) and Blanka Csizmadia with Koda (Northspring's Born To Be Good) in scooter one FCI dog.

Laci started the race with his silver arrows in bikejoring with two dogs (Zoya and Iva) and finished on second place. I (Agnes) was racing with one dog (Sookie) and finished on second place as well.

I'm the most proud of is Laci's win on the triathlon race with Ed.
Ed is 8 years old, it was his 7th triathlon and 5th win in Dunaharaszti.
Blanka was racing with Koda (Northspring's Born to Be Good) in bikejoring with 2 dogs, running with Tivo (Northspring's My Tricky Tuesday) and Emese was also running with Elinor (Northspring's Manic Monday), for those results please check our Facebook profile.

22.09.2017. We attended on the 22nd International Sleddog Meeting in Dunaharaszti, Hungary where was a Specialty&Club Show organised for the V FCI group judged by Mr. Franco Mannato from France. Mr. Mannato is the president of the FISTC so I did not care some of my dogs are already out of coat I wanted to present them.
Northspring's Green Mountain (co-owned by Rebecca Sordje) won the open male class, got CAC and was second best male
Northspring's Green Valley (out of coat) won R.CAC in open class
Creek Spring of Siberian Lady won the working class, got CAC and at the end was second best working dog in show!
I would like to thank Mr. Mannato for the nice words of my dogs, it was a pleasure showing them to you!

07.11.2015. International Dryland Sleddog Training Ballószög, Hungary. Laci finished the training with fantastic results, with Ed and Zoya ran the second best time of all (was first in his category). They trained bikejöring with two dogs. With our veteran girl - Quinny - he finished on second place in bikejöring with one dog. I'm more that proud of our young girl Zoya for her willingness to work.

24-25.10.2015. IXth International Dryland Sleddog Race Reingers, Austria. Laci and Blanka were racing with our dogs. Laci finished on 4th place in C1, unfortunately Tanja cut her leg on the first day, so he had to carrie her for a while and lost a lot of time (Tanja's injury was not serious). Blanka did a great job, she won the second place in D1 with Koda and Nina. With this result Koda passed his working exam!

Norhtspring's Born to Be Good - Koda rocked :-), he won the junior class, got Hungaria Prima Junior title, was Junior Best of Breed, Best of Breed, Junior Best of Group and JUNIOR BEST IN SHOW! With this result he finished his Junior Championship in Hungary. Koda is son of Boo and our Sookie, he is co-owned by Blanka Csizmadia. Breed judge was Mrs.Sanja Momcilovic Bognic (Srb) and junior best in show judge was Mr. Kardos Vilmos (Hu). I really apreciate their nice judgement.

20-24.11.2014. FISTC Cart European Championship Vének, Hungary
Laci finished on 9th place from 12 entered C1 teams. We are extremly proud as he trained a lot and raced with "show dogs", he ran the time limit all three days and on the last day was even better than we expected. This was a huge race with huge competition!

04.05.2014. III. Specialty and Club Show for V. F.C.I. Group - Panonija Show Apatin 2014
We had fantastic time at the specialty in Apatin. Despite the awful weather enjoyed every moment of it with the dogs. I would like to thank Mr. György Tesics for his nice judgement and to organizers for the nice show and awards. We entered 4 dogs, Ed (Indian Legend of Siberian Lady) was in working class and got CAC, Quinny (Power Puff of Siberian Lady) was also in working class getting her CAC, Lana was entered into veteran class, won veteran CAC and Best Veteran in Show, but what we are the most proud is that our girl - Sookie (Creek Spring of Siberian Lady) - was Club Winner, Best Female, Best of Breed and Best in Specialty Show Winner! I'm simply over the moon!
Some nice results from the other part of our team are that son of our Lana (Tivo - Northspring's My Tricky Tuesday) was Club Winner and Best Male. Uncut Diamond of Siberian Lady won the champion class and got CAC. Ed's daughter - Electric Blue of Siberian Lady was Puppy BOB and second Best Puppy In Show.

12.04.2014. Kikinda CAC - A beautiful and successful day.
When I found out that we are expecting a baby I was incredibly happy but at the same time scared how will our life continue with the dogs, shows, races and the baby. In so many cases people just give up their doggie life when a child arrives. So when Adam was born and I had to stay at home I pushed Laci to go with the dogs, train them, race with them as I simply did not want to give it up, I decided that as soon as we are able to go with Adam we will also show our dogs. Kikinda CAC was the first show since September I could attend, I was excited as a small child when gets a cookie, ha ha. Could not wait to groom the dogs, could not wait to be there and run in the ring... this day was simply perfect and the judges, organisers really don't know what pleasure and happiness they gave to me. I entered Lana and Sookie from my dogs and Tanja with Pasek from Anett's. Lana and Pasek won BIS couple, Lana was entered into veteran class, she won Veteran CAC and Veteran BIS, Sookie - my perfect little girl - won CAC, BOB, BOG and BEST IN SHOW! I would like to thank everyone who was part of this perfect day: Stefica Lazic for her nice judgement, Bosnjak Tibor , Milos Veselinov for his choice in the finals, to Anett Kalmár for her handling, help, to Aleksandar Vojinov for taking care of Adam while we were both in the ring with Laci, Paula who took Anett and also helped with Adam, to my husband Laci, as he was there for me and this time he pushed me to present and show. And of course, not on last place to Mirjana Prpic , breeder of Sookie, for her all time support and this fantastic little girl! Believe me Mirjana I though of you when I heard that Siberian Husky is the BIS :*

Blanka and Tivo took 2nd place in junior canicross.
Lana took 3rd place in gum pulling and Tivo was first in this category.

- Elinor (Northspring's Manic Monday) passed her man-saver exam with 184 points (from 200) , with this succes she showed that this beautiful breed is capable to do more than just pulling the sled and showing in the ring. I think nobody can be more proud at this moment than us. Emese thank you very much for your great work with this girl, you are the best!

10.04.2010. Csemő canicross race: Blanka and Tivo (Northspring's My Tricky Tuesday) took 2nd place in adult category, Gábor and Tivo won 1st place in junior category! We would like to congratulate to our young sporters!!!

25-27.09.2009. XIV. International Sleddog Meeting Dunaharaszti, Hungary. We took part in a lot of compatitions.
- Lana and Laci started the triatlon (they were the best swimmers), in canicross they took the 7th place
- We met our puppies who became a very nice youngsters. Blanka and Tivo took 2nd place in junior canicross
- Lana took first place in weight pulling again (for the third time). She managed to pull 242 kg.
